IBM Plex Sans Arabic — the salon panel's typeface

Two files, both converted from the supplied TTFs:

     IBMPlexSansArabic-Regular.woff 101 KB (from 230 KB)
     IBMPlexSansArabic-Bold.woff 103 KB (from 241 KB)

   THE WEIGHT RANGES

The panel asks for 300, 400, 500, 700 and 800. Two files cover all five
through ranges rather than exact weights:

       100–500 Regular
       600–900 Bold

So 300, 400 and 500 draw the Regular and 700 and 800 draw the Bold, and
nothing is synthesised — the browser never has to thicken the Regular to
invent a bold, which on Arabic is visibly crude.

Declared at 400 and 700 exactly, 300, 500 and 800 would each be matched by
the browser's own nearest-weight rule, which lands on the same two files
but leaves 500 free to synthesise on some engines. The ranges say it
     outright instead.

WOFF rather than WOFF2 because WOFF2 needs brotli, which this machine's
Python does not have. WOFF2 of these would be roughly 75 KB each.

font-display: swap — text is readable in the fallback while the files
arrive, rather than the panel rendering blank for a moment.
